HUNTSVILLE MUSIC STUDY CLUB AT A GLANCE
An Artistic Stronghold
The Huntsville Music Study Club has been a vital part of the music scene and given a local voice to the goals of the National Federation of Music Clubs. Formed in 1920, HMSC gave its first scholarship in 1925 and continues its legacy of encouraging young musicians today. The National Federation Collect states the overall goal is "...to bring the spiritualizing force of music to the inner life of our nation," and HMSC is dedicated to the upholding of this mission.
